Greetings once again Dakkadakka I need your advice.

I have started a new dark eldar armye and I am at a loss of what to do. I have build 3 raiders and 2 ravagers, a lott of wracks and a lott of warriors. I faced my regular buddy who as usualy plays some sort of marine mech with loads of long distance shots. I started them all on the board in good cover and he took out all 3 transports turn 1 and the ravagers turn 2. Now I am at a loss of what to do because building and making transports costs a lott of money and time that I do not have. (Moastly the time.)

I am figuring that the best thing for me to do would perhaps go for a web way portal list. Ravagers would move in fromr eserve and blast everything, but what do I do with the raiders? I was thinking of giving them chain snares, shock prow and enchanted aethersails
and have them move in a 24+ moving over units and perhaps ramming of apropriate. I am not shure if I should have units in them. And at that price they cost 75 points. Is it just a dead killpoint?

If you are going second, it might be a good idea to not deploy on the board.

Also, raiders are best taken cheap. Give them one, maybe two upgrades and be done. The only upgrade I recommend with no reservations is the flicker field. A 5++ save is really good, especially if you go second and don't get to turbo boost.

If your opponent has a large amount of long range fire power, you need to take more than 3 transports. In modern 40k, I don't expect 3 rhinos to make it across the board, its a bit unlikely that 3 open topped AV 10 vehicles would be able to survive. So going second, start out off the board (regular reserves), or take more.

If you do webway, I recommend only using units that are fast from it. Like hellions and beast packs. Wyches can work, but have shorter assault range, and warriors aren't all that good out of a webway.
