Not a very good unit in the game, but was fun to convert and paint. Unfortunately they never make it on the table top for being a sub par unit. But here it is anyways

What?!?

That's not what I've heard!

Nice looking minis too, by the way!

Looking great!

They're an excellent unit, actually; except for the ubiquity of psychic hoods and rune weapons. That said, if you include two Farseers with Fortune, there's less than a 1/4 chance on any given turn of his hood stopping you.

the 9 man unit is around 700 points......it cant even handle 5 th/ss. once the seer dies the unit crumbles. it gets tarpitted easily due to having no power weapons. hidden powerfists eventually kill the seer. Ive used the unit many many times. ITs never been worth the points

Like everyone else, I've heard they're quite a hard unit. I assume you were casting fortune on them right? That's what makes them so survivable. You could avoid the farseer being ID'd by putting him in base-to-base with ordinary squaddies, not with the powerfist guy, thus forcing the powerfist to strike against the squad.

Great colour on the jetbike canopies.

Eldar Corsairs: 4000 pts

TH/SS terminators are a pain for them- every single one of them carries a weapon to instant-kill the farseer, and 2+ saves are a pain in the neck for witchblades. They are a wrecking crew against anything with a worse save than 2+, and against vehicles.

620 pts replacing the autarch with another warlock w/ destructor
And yeah, though the unit is really good and beasty, it usually doesn't make up for its cost =[
Still though, the idea of dudes flying around on jetbikes cutting people's heads off while wearing dresses is pretty sweet.

Cool looking unit btw, I reallly like the witchblades. You should paint the rest of the jetbike gems

heh, yeah its never made up for its points. other deathstar units wreck it. Nobs, th/ss, wolfstar, etc etc all beat down on them easily.

Didn't you sell (or maybe it was for sale) this army. I vaguely remember seeing that.

Thats airbrush for sure. Looks good. My only quip is the Farseers blend too much with the bikes. Nothing really stands out or catches my eye. Still, they look very, very nice.

Plus, great to see more Eldar on this forum.

Currently collecting and painting Eldar from W40k.

I remember in the old Craftworld Eldar side codex it said.

"Seer council members cannot take jetbikes, they are too proud and ancient to be flying around".

It's funny how times change.

i know this is an older thread so sorry for being late on the bandwagon but I was wondering how you moved the witchblades about on the warlocks...looking at doing one similarly to this as my first conversion and this looks like a stellar job you have done on these......are the blade arms just bent or do you cut and pin?
