Wraithlords have fairly large parts mounted on fairly narrow joints, which make appropriately small magnets too weak to hold arms to the torso without them flopping around. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

On the narrow pieces: drill and use small nails (so the head is exposed.) Then use magnets on the weapons.
This is how I did my "old school" Wraith Lords.

Ignore the tabs/slots.
Remove the tabs and drill into the space left deep enough to fit magnet.
Drill the slots to fit matching magnet. For plastic weapons, 3x1mm are fine. 3x1mm will also hold metals in a pinch.
My plastic one is done this way.
I could have gone one extra step and magnetised hands as well, but tbh, I couldn't be bothered.

the joints on the hands are so small that a 1/32" wide magnet simply doesn't provide enough friction to keep the wraithsword from sliding around, and a loose pin for support still wobbles.
Chromedog, I actually did that for my heavy weapons platform with my guardians. I just had to give up on the hand and glue on the sword. I'll try to magnetize the shoulder mounted weapon. I was just looking forward to twin-linked bright lance or scatter lasers.

I DID pin the hands on though - and used a small spot of plastic cement (holds it in place but a gentle twist will remove it without much damage.
If I ever get a 2nd plastic WL, I might do more conversions (but as I also have 4 METAL WL, I can't really see a need for it).

I'm posting my friends Eldar Wraithliord that I've been helping build some time ago.
The Wraithlord has magnetised hands and weapons slots so his armament is interchangeable, he also can twist his head and around. Here are some pics for your viewing pleasure (hopefully).
(this last pic is just for giggles, cause his wrist doesn't bend like that, it would though with a little bit of green stuff)
You can see clearly where the magnets are, but if you cover it up with GS it won't show
I wouldn't advise magnetising the arms though. I tried to do that but they're too slim to be able to hold the arm on a magnet, too flimsy.

Looks like 3x1mm (what I used for the shoulder mounts on mine.) - they're common enough to find.

Yes i used 3x1 and 3x2 for the hand sockets. It might look like its hard work but to be honest it was easy as pie. You just need a lil bit of experience with, a drill. I prefer to use a 1mm drill to make a little center hole in the place i want the magnet and then i drill with a 3mm or 5mm (depending on the magnet). The whole magnetisation of the Wraithlord took me about 2 hours.
