Can you stack the ability to re-roll lightning claws with chaplain liturgies in the Assault phase? Example: 5 Assault terminators all equipped with lc's + Terminator assault a unit. After rolling to hit, only 3 attacks hit miraculously. Re-rolling for the lightning claws, 7 attacks hit. Re-rolling again for the Chaplain's liturgies, you now land 14 attacks on the opposing squad. Is that possible?

Lightning Claws let you re-roll wounds, not hits.

On the idea you had of re-rolling a re-roll, it specifically says in the Rulebook that you may NEVER re-roll a re-roll.

Lightning claws reroll failed rolls to wound, not to hit. In that way they do combine, you'd be rerolling failed rolls to hit as well as failed rolls to wound. If lightning claws rerolled failed rolls to hit (which they don't) then they would not combine with liturgies since you can't reroll a reroll.

As stated above, the main rulebook states clearly that you can never re-roll a die which has already been re-rolled.

However, since a chaplain gives re-rolls to hit and lightning claws give re-rolls to wound, a chaplain with a bunch of lightning claw guys is indeed an awesome combination.

You may have seen Wolf Claws, which are like lightning claws but you can choose a reroll to hit OR to wound.

And Chaplains let Death Company reroll hits *and* wounds.

Yeah LC=Wounds Chap=misses... I use a termi chap with LC Termis all the time... you're not the first one to get that wrong.
Usually someone tells me they are both for misses and I can't stack them...

ONE MORE LC rule... in case you don't know if you only have one LC, like on a vet, you get to reroll your wounds for the LC, but you don't get the bonus attack for two handed weapon.
