Going to move this to 40k general as whilst we haven't seen this model before it doesn't strike me as being an actual rumour as such.

I'd say that they aren't GW sculpts based on the preportions-spindly arms compared to that chunky waist etc-, but who knows, test sculpts?

Either test sculpts or a scratch build...
I really hope it's a test sculpt...

Looks very nice, different from the atypical short-cut hairstyle seen on most sisters. I can't figure out if she's taking off or landing.

I hope this is a test model as well.

Not entirely convince by the pose, which I find too square on. Cricket fans will know what I mean!

But if that is unique greenwork, the details are very nicely done indeed.

Proportions don't look too bad to me tbh.

It looks more like she is falling backward, getting ready to throw a grenade.

I have to agree that it looks like someones scratch build over a test scultp. The arms a a little too thin. Just my thoughts though.

Very nice sculpt. It certainly looks like a "kiting" pose, with the Seraphim keeping out of arm's reach while keeping the enemy under fire.

I don't think it's a test sculpt: the file name looks like it came from a DeviantArt account. Unfortunately the account has been deactivated, so I can't confirm this.

I highly doubt that this is a test sculpt. The model is sitting on a wine cork. I think the professional photographers at GW could find something a little better to put their models on than that. Though still a great job whoever it is.

It's obviously a homebrew job since the quality doesn't match GW quality, and the bolt pistol isn't consistent with any GW designs. The face and hair are also very different, stylistically.

it was done by a DA scupter, who i belive did a Howling banshee as well, and a few other goodies, they are all really nice greenstuffed items, but i too recently discovered the account was disabled :(

I don't see whats wrong with her arms or waist but I'll agree with you that the bolt pistol is weird

This was done by a sculptor on DA awhile back. He did a few other sisters bits as well I think. At one point he mentioned that he had shown the sisters sculpts to some people at (I infered) a Gamesday and had gotten very positive responses and feedback. Shortly after that he mentioned that he was doing some sculpting work that he couldn't say much about due to a NDA. A bit afte rthat his DA account went dark.

Make of that what you will.
