I love to try a demo before paying piles of money on something. then I asked myself, what game should I try next? let's ask dakka!

So is there any demo you think everyone shoudl try?

(for me it would be Kill zone 3: it's not unique, but it's a very good shooter game)

In your base, ignoring your logic.

The only thing is, there is a demo of Killzone 3 that's available only for Playstation Plus members.

The Battlefield 1943 demo is pretty decent as well.

Buy you a Blockbuster game card for $25.00. You can rent one game at a time and take it back and exchange it at any point within a month. If I want to exchange it 25 times in one day or keep the one game a month I can.

I usually get a pass once every 4 or 5 months to try out games. It has saved me a load of money because there was a lot of games that I thought I would pay $60.00 for and found out they were crap after an hour.

Demos are nice but you rarely get a good idea of what the game is like. Take perfect Dark for example. That Demo started you way too far in the game and while playing it you had no clue what was going on or how to use all the crap it gave you.

Believe me, $25.00 to fully sample 20+ games in a month is worth a lot more than wasting your time playing demos.

But if you must then I can tell you to try a few. Dead Space 2's demo was pretty good and so was Heavy Rain's (if you like that sort of game).
