I'm trying to rebuild the community in Ohio and get more people playing both casual and tournaments. If you are in the area and want to be apart of this hit me up and let's get somethings scheduled. I am in Columbus but run Events in columbus, newark and am branching out to other areas.

I'm part of a small group that plays on the south end of Columbus. I know a few guys(myself included) have been interested in finding some tournaments and events around the city.

We've got a small group of gamers in the Ashland area.

I'm here in Columbus and would be totally interested in this if you don't mind somebody still learning the game being part of the group.

I am working with a guy to open a store in our area. Once it was open (or closer at least) I was going to send you a message about events, but sense you made a thread, there ya go. I am more eastern ohio to be fair. There are several places in the Canton Akron area too.

I'd love to help you out how every I can man. I'm still around and attempting to keep the ball rolling and the community growing. There is a lot going on this year, I know of something like 30 events as of right now in ohio, just the dates aren't all set in stone yet. Hope to see you at an event again and let me know if you need anything.

Speaking of tournaments, are you going to be hanging around the Comic Shop Plus on the 19th? I just got my name entered for that one, use it as a practice day before Hyde's tournament.

For any of the columbus area people I'm planning to make it to the Guard tower friday the 25th and hopefully the following Monday (28th). Probably bringing a new player with me so if you wanna get some games in let me know.

Hey Corbett, I'll be there on Monday the 28th. Any chance I could arrange a game with that new player you're bringing? It would officially be my 2nd game so plenty of opportunity for you to brush up on those mentoring and TO skills! Just PM me and let me know.

I have to cancel for Friday due to covering a shift and on-call for a co-worker that had a family member pass away. As for Monday, I will verify if my friend is for sure making it on Monday and will try to get that game arranged. I will be there for sure on Monday though.

So I made it to the Guard tower last night for 40k monday nights. Was the first time hitting it up and there was about a dozen people there. Some verterans and some new players. I'd love to see more people coming there and hopefully others would help me encourage any players to make it down if you can. It seems people were open to pick up games and always willing to talk fluff, theory craft or pros and cons of a army.
I myself will be trying to make it and am more then happy to work with new players to get some games in and help explain everything as well as help them find others that may know the army they play a little better then me and give some great advice. See you all next Monday

I will be at the guard tower Monday the 21st. I should be there around 6. At this point I do not have any games scheduled and will probably talk/read/paint but if anyone is interested I should be able to stay till about 930ish.

Monday the 18th I will be at the guard tower to get some game time in.

Meet some new people and told them to head to the Guard Tower on Monday gang, say hi to them and show them the ropes.

hey i used to live up near toledo. moving back there in a few months too. i never saw much going on around there in the NW, but there was a small FLGS in sandusky that i used to go to. There were about 20 players there, but only half of them weekly regulars, and i dont think any of them got on line about 40k. I just wanted to subscribe to this thread for when I get back to werewolf country so i can know if stuff is going on.

I was thinking of going to the guard tower on friday the 22nd if anybody wants to get a game or two in. I got a new army i havnt got to play with yet.

Man I would love to get some games in but I have a birthday party and a tournament to set up for on Friday. If you are available any the following week let me know.

I will probably make it in next monday night. Havnt made it the past few weeks but im going to try to next week if you want to get a game in.

sorry I have been absent these last few Mondays at the Guard tower gents, life and work have really thrown me some curve balls lately and I'm hustling to keep up. I'll be back on Mondays as soon as this settles out some.
