As most of you should know, GW has released some new BA models that i think are actually cool. I've wanted to do the BA but i still need to work on my first SM and IG armies. My personal favorite is the new Baal Predator. What's your guys opinions on the new models and if you have one, what's your favorite?

The Baal Predator has been out since the re-release of Blood Angels. It's a very good kit with some nice options.

The new models released this week are the Stormraven and the Furioso dreadnought.

no, that kits been out since the Codex came out.

the Old Baal Preds went for sale pretty cheap too. we had 30% off and just because it's metal and doesn't have a Flamestorm cannon.

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

Jes Goodwin's notes on the Stormraven make me like it a bit more - he said its shape is meant to evoke a forearm and a fist at the end, and that sounds about right. I still think it's pretty ugly, but that at least sounds like some thought went into it.

I'm not a huge fan of the new Blood Angels stuff. Although the detail is admirable, I miss Blood Angels being simpler and less "out there."
