Just wondering if this would be a feasible Apoc army list for a game I have coming up in a few weeks.

HQ
CCS - Commander, 4xmeltagun vets, chimera (145)

Elites
Guardsman Marbo (65)

Troops
10xVeteran Squad - 3xmeltagun, chimera (155)

10xVeteran Squad - 3xmeltagun, chimera (155)

10xVeteran Squad - 3xmeltagun, chimera (155)

10xVeteran Squad - 3xmeltagun, chimera (155)

Fast Attack
Banewolf - Multimelta, Extra Armor (160)

Heavy Support
Leman Russ - Lascannon, Heavy Bolter Sponsons, Heavy Stubber (195)

Leman Russ - Lascannon, Heavy Bolter Sponsons, Heavy Stubber (195)

Leman Russ Vanquisher - Lascannon, Heavy Bolter Sponsons, Knight Commander Pask (240)

2xHydra (150)

Super Heavy
Shadowsword - Hull mounted Heavy Bolter, Targeters (475)

Total 2245

The armies I may be facing are all either marine armor, guard armor, or the one isolated case of armored orks. Tactics are pretty much use the LRBTs and infantry to protect the Shadowsword as it picks off enemy super heavies, of which there are at least 4 on the table. Someone also has a few vendettas, so I brought the hydras to deal with them.

C & C is greatly appreciated!

Just my 2 cents

Well, lose the extra armour, the pask tank could easily be replaced by a normal leman russ or a demolisher, all that kit is a fairly inefficient way to destroy vehicles.

Never played proper superheavies-and-stratagems apocalypse, so no particular advice. Take artillery if you have it, long-range high-strength blasts are probably king. At the end of the day, in such a big game, little list tweaks won't make too much difference. You're using IG armour, how much of a disadvantage are you really going to be at?

Fair enough.

If I drop the EA on the Banewolf, and drop pask from the vanquisher, what should I add with the extra 70 points? I could also drop the HB sponsons from the Vanquisher, adding another 20 points. Could maybe take another hydra and give the squadron camo netting. Alternate suggestions to this are appreciated!

Good thinking. And apocalypse doesn't use kill points does it? Un-squadron those hydras!

My only worry in breaking up the hydras is that I'll have to find another place to dump the points from the camo netting. If the hydras are in a squadron, they can afford it, if not, then only 1 could have it

You need at least 3k points for apocalypse. Sorry to break it to you.

Anyhow, you need more veteran chimera squads. This looks like a 1500 list with some tanks and upgrades thrown in.

I know technically I do need at least 3k in points. Its more of a team apocalypse battle though, and the guy whos putting it together specified 2250 points per player. Even so, the sides are still going to be over 10000 points

As for adding the vet squads, what should I drop to put them in?

The banewolf, as it won't do much on an apocalypse board.

Or just bring lots of warhounds (3) .

As much as I would love to bring the warhounds, I don't own any, so its kind of redundant. As for the banewolf, the reason its been included is to demolish the multitude of marine forces on the board. It should survive long enough because its an urban map. so theres lots of cover
