Here is a Piece of Imperial themed terrain that I kit-based using some struts from the Aegis Landing Platform and a few things from my bits boxes, etc.:

The light on the top actually slowly blinks on and off and is powered by a 9-volt battery that fits inside out of sight.

I likes it. It's suitibly junky and the paint job fits it, Nice job. I need to get some electronics into my terrain, thats a pretty cool and simple effect.

Yeah, I figured the electronics would make it clear that it is an objective in a scenario etc. I'm thinking of building a Space Hulk themed board for 40K and this was a test piece. I figure lots of machinery like this piece would work as modular pieces to fill rooms, etc.

That is one of the best terrain pieces I've ever seen. People may make fun of it for looking like a bus stop, but at least it looks like something real people might have used before their city got bombed out.

Is it wide enough and high enought to fit a vehicle through because it looks more like an imperial toll booth to me than a bus stop. Very nice

I pictured it more as a sort of air conditioner/filter, but toll booth/bus stop is just as "grimdark" to be sure...

ebay and other bits services are a good thing...

i have a bunch of these that i plan to use for a set of elevated pipeline and/or elevated walkways as well...
