Subject: Empire Mortar Rules

Due to the new, "no-guessing-range" rule in the latest Warhammer Rulebook, how does this affect Empire Mortars, a sort of Rock Thrower, as their rules are from the Empire Army Book? There are two ways it can be done as I see it;
1. Use the new rules for Guess Range weapons (Place template, scatter etc.) just with the Mortar's template size, range and strength
2. Use the older 'Guess Range' rules as they are the ones used in the Army Book

Funny thing to do on L4D [if you own the server] Bind the tank music to a key, then at quiet moments press it and start firing like mad at something behind your team whilst screaming 'tank' on voice comms. |

Page 45 – Mortars
Ignore the Mortar Misfire chart and all of the text that follows
the profile for the Mortar and crew, and replace them with:
“The Mortar is a stone thrower, except that it uses the large
round template and has the following profile:
Name Range Strength Special Rules
Mortar 12-48" 3(6) Multiple Wounds (D3)
Armour Piercing

Just so you know what nos is quoting it's the empire FAQ.
All armies need their FAQs to play the new ed.

It takes me at least 5 mins to find a new FAQ once i've learned its out

Hoverboy - i find typing "errata" into the awesome bar (FF) or just into chrome takes me back to the page - you just see if its the Warhammer or 40k one, and that it states "page 2"
