Before I posted it, I figured I'd ask. Are models that are posed flipping the bird inappropriate for the Dakka gallery? Not sure if we're keeping it PG or PG-13, here.

On a boat, Trying not to die.

Judging by the amount of freehanded nudity on the gallery, and the "NSFW" Tyranid thread that poped up a while ago, I'd say go for it.

But that's just me.

I would agree that it should be OK.

After all, the Chaos Space Marine Terminator Lord kit comes with such a pose, as does the Daemon Prince.

So long as it's on the model, then you should be fine IMHO.

"As I recall, your face was tortured. Imagine that - the Master of the Wolves, his ferocity twisted into grief. And yet you still carried out your duty. You always did what was asked of you. So loyal. So tenacious. Truly you were the attack dog of the Emperor. You took no pleasure in what you did. I knew that then, and I know it now. But all things change, my brother. I'm not the same as I was, and you're... well, let us not mention where you are now."

Neither of these are 'flipping the bird'... they just have open hands, and in the daemon prince's case a rather elongated index finger.

Although there have been actual models doing so in the past... at least one goblin and one snotling that I can recall off the top of my head.

And no, it's not really a problem for the gallery. Not particularly tasteful, and (at least IMO) seems rather anachronistic, but that's just a personal preference thing.

PG-13.

It sounds like it should be fine, but once they're posted you could always PM Kid Kyoto with a heads-up to get his personal approval (since he does most of the picture approval/rejection nowadays).

I don't see an issue.

In 6 months+ the only image I've deleted for taste reasons was a, impending rape scene.

In a game where people walk around with the flayed skin of their enemies as capes it's hard to draw a line of good taste so I don't think the finger would cross it.
