is it plastic or metal you are stripping?

If Plastic, regular break fluid for cars will do the trick.
If Metal, Alcohol based nailpaint thingy works.

Or try using Dettol antiseptic liquid, works great and won't hurt your models.

Bunnings, use simple green, no matter what anyone else says its the best, get a big ass tub of the constrained stuff, dump it un a bucket/tub/milo can etc, leave as long as you want i left stuff in there for like a weak and they were completely fine and iv heard of people leaving them in for 6+ months. Also its environmentally friendly so you can stick you hand strait in it without it burning/other bad stuff happening (I have ridiculously sensitive fingers and they were fine, you could probably drink the stuff).

Oh, I certainly vote with my dollar, but the problem is that that is not enough. The problem with the 'vote with your dollar' response is that it doesn't take into account why we're not buying the product. I want to enjoy 40k enough to buy back in. It was my introduction to traditional games, and there was a time when I enjoyed it very much. I want to buy 40k, but Gamesworkshop is doing their very best to push me away, and simply not buying their product won't tell them that.

You'll find it in the cleaning supplies section, NOT in the paint stripping section.

I use acetone for my metals.
I don't buy painted 2nd hand plastics.
