Well... they 'say' they do Warmachine, but essentially all the shows so far (and the posts on their website, sans one) have been 40k.

That being said, the podcast is still extremely well done, informative, and entertaining. But just talk about Warmachine, already!

I think either ep 10 or 11 will be the WM cast.

Dan and the boys are getting their game on. Seems they have a more helpful WM crew in Chicago - my local lot are all douchebags.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

No, they just like stomping noobs.

They offer NO advice whatsoever to noobs (Especially the leader who is apparently a Freeloader (or whatever PP call their slaves). They do their game a disservice in this way.

Yeah... that always sucks... sometimes elitists have me not playing certain games.

Press Ganger, FWIW.

I've had similar situations which is why I'm happy at my FLGS where we have a pretty large and friendly group.

I'm happy to say that Episode 10 was chock-full of Warmachine goodness!

It was great hearing the enthusiasm the hosts have for the game, and how excited they are to start it.

What I know:
They're chi-town boys.
I know they play at the Chicago BB.
They keep mentioning it.

They've been playing for a few years, but unlike many 40k players, these guys are actually open to playing another company's product as well.

They don't take it seriously (kinda why I like them).

Pressganger/Freeloader. Whatever. douchebag still plays the same.

I have found a new podcast

"That for all the Emperor's love of his space marines, his ultimate creation - he was in fact nearly killed by one of them, only to be saved by a mere mortal with a 5+ save and a flashlight."

Bile towards my local pressganger? Clash of personalities. I've known him for several years - we've never got on.
When I started WM, there was NO rulebook (in our neck of the woods) yet. Just the starter rules. Between those weeks and my next game 6 years had passed rules had changed and it was not "your grandfather's miniatures game" anymore.
I'm of the mind that if you are trying to broaden your player base, then TEACHING someone the finer points of the rules (and how synergy works in the game) gets more results than telling them to buy "x" starter box and start playing.
When your caster gets stomped into the dirt on turn 1 because they (veteran, who is meant to be teaching you the game) haven't even gone through the basics (for some, playing aggressively takes a mental shift) and the "veteran" doesn't even begin to offer advice on what to do/what not to do then they're letting their team down and probably discouraging people from playing the game.

They have mentioned that it was a complex issue and they would not go into it over the podcast. You could try Dan or Rich via email (via the eternal warriors) and ask them though.
They were the first non Aussie podcast that cared enough about my club to plug our tournament.
'S one of the reasons I started listening.

It may be due to the fact that DLT was supposed to be focused solely on Warhammer 40k. With the guys newfound interest in Warmachine, maybe they decided a new title was best, instead of trying to change the formula that DLT had grown on.

Then again, it's probably much more complicated than that. Whatever it was, I'm glad the guys transitioned so nicely, instead of blowing up, like other podcasts have done in the past.

Okay, I misread your post. I thought you were referring to the Dice Like Thunder Crew.

Funny story. I was explaining to my friend that demo games I often leave a charge line or
firing lane open to my 'caster. Then later, when I saw him showing someone the game, I
asked him why he did x instead of y. He just pointed his finger at me and yelled, "YOU SAID"

It was a good time .
