$1,000,000 and a 50% discount

I was wanting to see if there was anything out there which was similar to, but not as static/old as the current Necromunda Enforcers (aka Arbites)?

Models of course would have to be on the same scale (28mm heroic) but I'm curious to see what might work in place of spending $60 for a squad of 8 when I only need 1 model in the end.

best suggestion I have is using Cadians with some Pig Iron heads:

http://www.thecombatcompany.com.au//shopexd.asp?id=4159

Just a few examples of heads you could use.

and a simple weapon swap/conversion to replace the lasguns with shotguns.
Even by shortening/removing the barrel on the lasgun it makes for a pretty decent looking
shotgun.

If you want them to have riot shields and power maul you could use:

http://www.maxmini.eu/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=12&products_id=47

Dunno how you could make power mauls, maybe just a simple stick of plastic with some greenstuff additions.

............. and thats my two cents! good luck :-)

edit - I just realised - this will probably set you back about $60-80 anyway :-P If you are only after one arbites looking model,
eBay will be your friend ;-) Usually you can get a single arbites model for around $15-20 delivered.

If you don't care about GW models the old VOID range has a few things to offer.

I use my Shotgun SM scouts with headswaps (Pig Iron helmets). I've got the old metal ones, but the plastic ones can also work and are less work to convert as you don't need to cut their heads off first and drill out a socket for the new heads to fit.

Since the only army currently in the game that can take them is WH, and they are just carapace armoured (4+) stormtroopers with shotguns, the models fit.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

... and yet, with strange aeons, even death may die.
