Anyone capable of playing an Apocalypse game in GA?
I'm a nearing 30 gamer in the Atlanta/Decatur area of GA. I've been collecting/playing 40k for over half my life, so, remembering the days of massive 2nd edition battles, I got very excited when Apocalypse came out. I have not played a single Apocalypse game, however. Locally, it seems that no one has the numbers or is willing to play a game.

I'd love to get my marines on the board -- I have 2 companies and alot of armor, including a fellblade and a few experimental craft, like a stormbird. I'm constantly building new armor as well, like a scratch-built warhound titan, a scratch-built thunderhawk, and a 40k scale version of the epic SM landing craft.
I could also field a significant Tyranid force (at least 4000 pts), if anyone's interested in battling that.

Anyone who's willing and able, just give me a shout.

Oddly enough, on the 26th of this month we were planning on having an Apocalypse game at our local shop, Augusta Book Exchange down here in dear old Augusta. If you wouldn't mind traveling a little we'd be more than happy to have you!

hey man, sounds pretty cool. we usually hold an apoc game once a month or so, or whenever everyone decides to break out their titans and gargants. Visit our forums to talk to some of the lads to organise one, we are in Marietta.

Is this David? I've been in the shop a few times before, as I date one of the girls that used to do aikido in the dojo a couple of doors down. They no longer practice there (as of last month), but it was really convenient when they did.
I had no idea that you guys held Apoc games there. My best mate is actually a member of the club there, so I'll probably start popping in a bit more.
Trying to score some better transport cases right now, but once I do, guarantee that I'll be in with the whole army.
