I want to build a sanguinius model, and dont want to use a c'tan as his base, how can I build one that looks good and is about 25-50 percent bigger than a standard SM. Oh, and my GS skills are nonexistant
Any Ideas?????

Check out the Inqusitor Range, however those tend to be 2x larger than the current models.

Alternatively, check out one of the truescale Marine articles, and use plastic Terminators as a base. That way you'd definately be 25-50% larger.

yeah I was thinking of using battle brother artemis, but I dont know how big he actually is, and I wouldnt want him to be too big, also how would I do a head swap???

If it's metal, a Jeweler's saw, or exacto-knife, and a very steady hand.

40mm models should be roughly twice the height of a normal 40k model. Take a look at the metal DP for a rough size of what an Inquisitor Marine would be.

I just have to ask why? if you don't have the skills now to do this, why not work on smaler less demanding projects first and build up your skills

Its not that I do not have conversion skills, its that I want to have a good idea of what to do (although my GS skills are poor - and always have been, even though ive been using it for years.
Also my knowledge of the citadel range is far from perfect, and I may not see an opportunity where someone else does.

I'd either use a True-scale kit - as I believe the Inq. range to be too big for this - convert something (I'm unsure as to what though) or just forget the idea altogether...
