I bought Vallejo black paint about 6 or 7 months ago and I loved it, it worked great and covered really well. Ok so I ran out and bought so more and noticed the bottle shape change and the paint mixture doesn't seem to cover as well as it used too. Im not a professional on paint but I have been around the block enough to know good paint. I was just wondering though if anyone else noticed this or maybe my bottle was defective or something. Thanks

Could it have possibly been from a different Vallejo line? I know they have several different lines (including Game Color, Model Color, and Air Color, among others) and this could possibly, though not necessarily, be the cause of the different consistency. It would interest me to find out myself, as I recently ordered some Vallejo paints for an upcoming project.

I'm not a professional either, so I can't tell you for sure.

Sounds like you may have mixed up black from the Model Color line and Game Color line. To be fair, though, I've never had problems with either.
