We really need a little more input before we can give you help on Daemon lists. There is already plenty of information on the forums about Daemons and lists pertaining to them that you can look through already.

So is there something more specific that you are trying to ask pertaining to Daemons?

What? It's an idea. An utterly terrible and rubbish idea, but based on the incredibly insubstantial OP I didn't really feel justified putting time and effort into my reply.

I wouldn't say he sucks in a vacuum...
He sucks because he makes you play a bad list.

OP:

If you want mob kiling power, I suggest going slaanesh for most of the units. It gives you rending (for the big things) long assault (so you can pick your combats) and volume of attacks. Slaanesh can put a ton of attacks out, with the rending quite a few of the wounds ignore armor, and the remaining will kill the usually bad save guys most of the time anyways.

Slaanesh struggles against T4+ 3+ more than other gods, but the advantages pretty much outway the negatives in my mind.

Units I would use with this in mind:
Heralds on chariot with unholy might and hit an run. (5 wounds, 4+/5++ save, and 6 attacks base? for 90 points? A good deal)
Fiends: cheapest elite choice, can kill nearly anything, and 5 attacks base with rending. Lack of offensive nades hurts though.
Seekers: only S3 and T3, but fast, cheapish, and with rending and 4 attacks per can kill most things (including tanks, but don't count on that...) Having grenades makes up for fiends not having them.

Daemonettes are a bit too fragile as troops, unless you are playing 2k, when you can actually get enough of them they have a chance to survive.

Soulgrinders are the only AV in the list. They are pretty resilient, but will be destroyed quicker than they should due to lack of other targets for the anti tank guns. If you go with them, go with 3 of them, and keep them relatively cheap.

I personally prefer Tzeentch princes. Gives you a good shooting attack (at BS5) in bolt of tzeentch. the 4++ save is a good boon as well. For 140 points it is pretty solid.

Generally, don't mix princes and grinders. Princes are not good against massed mid strength fire, grinders die to high strength anti tank fire. Taking both means that your opponent has optimal targets for both types of weapons. Makes target priority easy.

Soul grinders are beasts in low point games, but as you get into 2000 point territory, Daemon Princes come into their own.

I agree that Tzeentch princes are the best, that 4++ is enough justfication for me to take it.

Androgynous Daemon Prince of Slaanesh

Norwalk, Connecticut

Trust me, a Khorne Prince is absolute crap. All of the other princes are far better-Slaanesh and Nurgle are both hands down better in close combat because of their grenade additions, nurgle wounding on 2s, and slaanesh being able to hit and run. Leave the Khorne prince at home, collecting dust. And of course, the tzeentch prince can rain shooting death on everyone.

Reality is a nice place to visit, but I'd hate to live there.
