Hello everyone, I have made 2 very fluff-centric CSM lists. The only thing I think severely deviates is the use of Obliterators (I need some sort of ranged fire) and non-icon Chosen & termies (Couldn't afford the icons).

Here's the Nurgle List - It is the more competitive of the two but still nice & fluff filled.

And the Slaanesh list - Less competitive than the nurgle list but not exactly bad. (Yes lash is bad, I'd much rather be T6 w/ rerolls to hit & wound)

The goal here was to write up some lists that are less competitive than my normal ones without castrating my army in the process. I stepped down from the Blood Angels & Wolves I so dearly love; to the CSM book, which while not terri-bad, is less than ideal. People may cry PM & oblit spam is cheesy / too competitive but the goal is to be LESS competitive, not UN-competitive. Also I don't know which one I would end up using.
With that in mind what do people think? Too hard, too soft, just right?

Are they really that fluff centred? For a start, the number of the unit...I know it doesn't really matter, but in my eyes the most fluffy thing you can do is use the sacred (or what ever it is) number...

I don't think just because you list only has Nurgle and un-marked units, doesn't make it fluffy. It makes it a Nurgle list. Of course modelling wise is probably where you get the real feel of Nrugle/slaanesh ect....

I don't play 1850, so don't know how to play fully at that level. But i don't think i would like to use or play against the Nurgle list..... Its got 5 small, but tough units, which will give your opponent quite tricky decisions as to where they focus their fire etc. But i would imagine be very hard to use for the same reasons.

Both these lists could be effective, but i just don't like them very much. but that doesn't mean they aren't any good

Sacred Numbers? I remember there was mention of them in the old codex but I didn't see anything in the new one.

that the thing. They aren't really that prominent. But i personally used them/plan to use them when re-starting Chaos.

No actual in game benefits. in fact in the case of yours lists, it means less squads, which means a change in tactic. As really the only way i see your lists working well, is because they have so many units in. But you could say the Dice gods will be on your side if your fluffy
