This was brought up in the Duke Sliscus thread and made me think of something else....
When you Deepstrike in, you are counted as moving at cruising speed, but we all know that fast skimmers can go FlatOut, but of course you can't use this during a deepstrike.
I know if the deepstrike rules it says that you can move no further, and I would never use this simply cause I dont ever deepstrike my Raiders or Ravagers and cause I don't think it would be legal, but wanted others opinions on it.
The question is: Can you use Enhanced AetherSails on the turn you deepstrike?
I would say no because it says you can move no further except to disembark, but that applies to infantry. I wouls say maybe because you count as moving at cruising speed and Enhanced Aethersails adds
2d6" without pushing you into Flatout, unless you had moved flatout on that turn already.
As I said, I don't deepstrike and I don't think you can do this, but wanted others opinions on what they think of it, cause supposedly Codex overrules Rulebook, and it doesn't state that you cannot use the Enhanced Aethersails after a deepstrike. OF course, as I have been reminded before, just because something doesn't say I can't do it is a terrible arguement
lol.
