I've heard good things about them. The textured rubber won't shed flock (since there isn't any) but can look just as good with a bit of drybrushing. Since rubber is flexible, they can be rolled up and stashed on a shelf or in a closet between uses. Supposedly, the material is relatively resilient, as well.

The thing Zuzzy mats really seem to have going for them is variety. You can buy grass mats from dozens of manufacturers, but with these guys, you can also roll out an ashen waste, battered blacktop, crumbling stone, etc.

[edit:] Have you run a search on the mats? I feel like I've read more than one review of them, before, possibly even on Dakka.

I own the city themed one. Dice bounce like mad, but over all I love the thing.

They are pretty resilient, due to lack of foresight I had to remove a large amount of gorilla glue tape from the back of mine, it held up just fine. Painting was a bit of a pain due to its size, but really easy to make it look good.

My buddy has one, and it is awesome. The dice do bounce a bit, but it looks amazing with little work needed to get it started.

I don't own them myself due to extra high international postage, but I heard good things from people who bought it.
You just have to
1.) take some care with painting if you want to roll the mat after gaming (inks, drybrushing, no thick layer)
2.) be tolerant to the rubber smell

That is very true, but the rubber smell fades eventually.

Does flock stick to them? I'm planning to get one because one of their mats will match how my armies are being based, however, those bases are flocked as well.

However, I don't want the flock peeling every time I roll it up.

I wouldnt flock them. Anything glued down in a clump would probably break off. Though... If you did it in small patches using a flexible adhesive (rubber cement) you could possibly get away with it. I would be really careful if you were to do it in large patches.

or you could make some terrain pieces to place on top that have patches of flock.

Flocking only if the mat is permanently fixed to a surface. No flocking if you want to roll up the mat.
