Like my Lizardmen my Tau stuff is hitting the road. Hated playing this army. The army was painted as a Night Ops themed force. Muted black with some glowing weapons and eyes to make them look less boring. I might have posted these a while ago enjoy.

The pose on the last suit is kind of stupid but, whatever.

Your fire warriors look great. I think a they could have really benefitted from a brighter base (green foliage). The dark armor really makes your details stand out, nice work!

The last one isnt stupid if they ask you hes talking to himself

i likes them, not sure but maybe the black could be highlighted alittle more.

Yeah the bases could probably be done differently to make the figures pop a bit more. I've heard rimming the base in black makes it looyk a bit unfinished and detracts from the black.

Good use of the red and blue as contrasts and spot colours, I like the black as is, nice glossy look, as opposed to extreme highlighting.

The pose of the 3rd suit is a little odd, lets it down a little overall, but the other two look great.

I agree that lighter bases would make them pop more. Nice scheme, though!

I quite like these. I had a similar idea for the paint scheme once but couldn't quite pull it off. The glowing effects look lovely.

There are places where your highlighting looks a little messy though. Also, I think you could work on your reds a little - they look a bit muddy, like the black is showing through. Of course reds, like all bright colours, are notorious for this.

Still, the overall effect is good, just not as good as the blues. I might have to dig my old crisis suits out and give them a fresh lick of paint after seeing these! I would recommend that you upload them to the Dakka gallery, so that people can vote on them.
