I recently picked up a box of plastic "Space Dwarfs" seen here:

And I wondered how they sized up compared to the metal "Squats" seen here:

Are the two compatible scale-wise? The metal figures have more weapon options that I'd like to try and fit into a platoon of the plastic figures but I don't want to go hunting down pricey OOP metal figures only to have them dwarf my dwarfs.

Any information would be appreciated from people who have experience with both of these sets of figures.

Thanks!

Yes. They play well together too.

The thing to bear in mind is that the metal squats tended to have different weapons from each other. I've got a couple that are armed with AK47s! I got the plastic set when it first appeared and wasn't too impressed when it came to trying to put the arms on and get them connecting to each other(i.e getting the left arm to link with the rifle). The metal ones are the best, they have more character.
