I looked up Airbrushing 40k on youtube and this is what I came up with, this being my first try at Airbrushing I would love some tips and CC. LOL on a side note, this little guy melted a little under my lamp trying to dry my primer (look at the hatch and the top left corner of the over head shot).

That is a great first attempt, my suggestion would be it seems like you have tried to do your bending in a single pass, I am referencing specifically the exhaust points..I would slowly build it up, as I have taught people to airbrush in the past I have always instructed them to "build" the layers up, natural weathering does not happen all at once int comes in layers....Also, a second "mud layer might look good too, something a little darker and just at the extreme bottom edge of the tank.

looks good from what i understand, and have practiced, airbrushing can be related to less is more, due to the way the paint is applied. what i mean is that due to the appearance of what is the end result. You can achieve weathering and consistent coverage over the surface with less paint, while achieving a very realistic look.

i think you did a very great job for a first try, excellent work. Most of my experience is with base coats primarily.
