Hey guys!
Bit of an unusual question - has anyone found any heads at a 28mm scale that show an emotion other than scorn / rage / indifference / shouting? I'd really like to find a head that is smiling, and not in an aggressive way. Can anyone help me out, Dakka?
I'd even be open for a model with the expression - i'm not above a hack-job
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help
Scarp

We come into this world bald, screaming, and covered in blood. Father GW has shown us that it's okay embrace that most natural of states. Evil smiles. The righteous look like they have perpetually stubbed toes.
Any more details? Is this to kitbash with a GW model? I've seen smiling models, but they've been predominantly A) true-scale 28mm or smaller, and either B) females and vaguely aggressive, but in that seductive, "fan-service for basement dwellers" kind of way or C) ugly, cartoonish sculpts of anthropomorphic animals. A smiling bard from Reaper probably won't fit the bill, but then again, it might. More details will help.

Considering the fact that this is war, I doubt much smiling would take place.
Especially since smiling releases a chemical (forgot the word) into your brain causing a happy pleasure, not a rush of strength and fearlessness that comes with fight or flight.

It is for combination with green stuff and various IG parts, kind of a diorama for my necro campaign. I understand that the 'heroic' GW scale doesnt go too well with, well, anything, but I've found that switching out hands for smaller ones can make a smaller head look ok, so I'd be up for any company really!
@mewiththeface - soldiers aren't killing things all the time - army camradarie is pretty legendary!
What really surprises me is how hard to find this stuff is - I can't find a single miniature that isn't angry, indifferent, or smiling in a "I could tear you intestines out and eat them if I wanted to" kind of way. Still looking though!
Thanks for the input so far though

Well you don't see soldiers smiling happily killing something in war and the models are to represent whats happening on a battlefield, not at a camp.

True, most of the 40k ones are. Which is why I'm having trouble, hence the question - my particular diorama is not on the front lines. I don't suppose you know where I could find any heads that fit the bill?

Smiles can be created artificially with facial hair.
I mean look at this grainy picture of my priest:
He looks like he's as happy as can be that he gets to eviscerate something today.

Possessed Khorne Marine Covered in Spikes

I don't know about other armies but I know for sure there aren't any Space Marine happy faces.
As part of their indoctrination and transformation into a marine they have several implants and organs fitted, the most secret and revered of which is the 'Pitbullchewingawaspanoid Gland' that forever forces the marines features into a warlike mask of righteous hatred to instill fear into the enemies of the emperor.
N.B. It has also been suggested by the inquisition that as marines are in their armour for extended periods the constant chafing makes them perpetualy scowl in discomfort. Any marine found not exhibiting such a scowl is obviously slacking in his service to the emperor and summarily executed.
