Forgive me if this has been asked before but I hate using the search function.

So when a vehicle deep strikes (I'm referring to a BA LR and SR) how far does it count as moving?

I assume since the codex says, "Units that disembark from a vehicle that has performed a deep strike can not assault." That it would mean the vehicle counts as moving not at all, Combat speed, or cruising speed. I assume it doesn't mean flat out since units can't disembark from a vehicle that moves flat out.

So which is it?

Not at all? Combat Speed? Or Cruising Speed?

Thanks for the help.

PS: Thank you to everyone that commented on my Meltagun post I apologize I didn't get to respond back and I should have been more clearer but I got the answer I was looking for so thanks again!

Ah Thank you Nos. I don't have the rulebook on me (and for some reason I seem to not remember reading that) I'll have to go back and check but that sounds about right.

As Nos said they count as moving cruising speed. Page 95 6th paragraph.
