A week ago I played a game with my friend and I decided to do a battle report.
I only wrote the most important things up, so the rest is from my head and I might have forgot some things.
My friend played with his Ultramarines and some of my Catachans and I played with his Goffs.
So here’s the ork army……

For the missions we first rolled a
D6, on a 1-5 we would roll for the normal missions and on a 6 we would play a special scenario called “Da Breakout” that I found on the
GW site, I rolled a dice and Breakout was the mission.
We made som small changes to the scenario rules because we had a small table, we also used
KP insead of the objectives.
The deployment was like this:

After deciding what cover the terrain gave we started deploying. The scenario said that the imperial player got to go first.
Here’s the deployment.


The Imperial player had to deploy all his units except the terminators since they had to deep strike. The captain and the tactical marines went for cover in the bunker and the scouts infiltrated behind the building in the middle.


I was only allowed to deploy 2 troops and one
HQ but roll for reserves on turn one, the reserves were also allowed to enter from any table edge as long as they didn’t enter within 12” of the enemy. I deployed 2 boyz mobs and the big mek with the mob to the right. My goal was to fly with the koptas and destroy the bunker, then blow up the marines with the boom gun and assault the survivors. This was my first time playing orks so I was a bit nooby.
Luckily I seized the initiative and went first!


Turn 1
Orks

I only got my deffkopta from reserves and forgot that I could fly in from the side so I flew 12” towards the bunker, it was now approximately 10” away from its target.
Both mobs moved forward 6” towards the dread and the scouts
In the shooting phase the mob with the mek shot at the scouts killing 2 of them, the other mob tried to shoot at the infantry squad in front of them but were out of range.
Imperium
The scouts were surprised and entered the building in the middle.
The platoon command issued FrSrF to the squad in front of them and then shot a frag grenade at the Mek’s mob but it scattered away. Then both infantry squads fired at the mob left of the Mek, killing 5 boys and 3 boys from the Mek’s mob as the blast scattered. The tactical squad and the scouts combined their fire and shot down the kopta.
Turn 2

Orks
All my reserves arrived!
The looted wagon entered behind the Mek, passed the dangerous terrain test but then the orks inside got carried away and it moved forward, luckily there was some other boys in front of them so it only moved 1” but unfortunately it couldn’t shoot. The third mob and the second kopta moved in from reserves from the right side. The Meks mob shot at the scouts and killed another of them, the other two mobs WAAAGH!ed 6” towards their targets
One mob assaulted the dreadnought but didn’t do any damage, the dread then struck back and crushed the leg of the nob and wounding him. The right mob tried to assault the bunker but was out of range, lastly the deffkopta destroyed the building with its buzzaw. Two guardsmen in the command squad were caught in the blast and they fled off the table one space marine and 4 guardsmen from the infantry squad also died.
Imperium
Terminators fail to come in from reseves.
Tactical squad moves forward and shoots at the right boyz mob killing 5 boyz and wounding the nob. The scouts also kill the kopta. The infantry squads try to shoot at the enemy but all of the mortars miss, but disciplined lasgun fire kill some orks. The dreadnought gets stunned after killing a boy.
Turn 3
Orks

Looted wagon rolls a one and moves 4” forward, Mobs move forward towards the crater. Tactical squad gets charged and destroyed and The mob fighting the dreadnought destroy its multi-melta and lose two of their own and another one due to the No Retreat! rule.
Imperium


Terminators arrive on the left side of the building in the middle and shoot some boys.
The infantry squads shoot at the boys killing a few of them. The stunned dreadnought doesn’t manage kill any boys, instead the nob rips its
CCW arm off with his klaw.
Turn 4
Orks


Mek’s mob and the right mob walk towards the terminators and the broken infantry squad, and then assaults them
The terminator sergeant wounds the Mek, the boys then chop down 2 terminators and the sergeant with their choppas.
The 2 remaining terminators try to kill the Mek and succeed. They then pass the
Ld check and fight on.
The looted wagon shoots at the infantry squad but the blast scatters away


The infantry squad gets slaughtered after killing 3 boyz. The mob then consolidates towards the other infantry squad
Imperium
The combined fire form the scouts and the infantry squad kills the rest of the boyz in the squad and the nob fails his morale test and flees 7”.
The terminators fight on but the orks are too many, they get destroyed. The mob then consoldatees towards the dreadnought to help the other greenskins. The dreadnought kills another boy but they pass the morale test.
Turn 5(didn’t take any pictures)
Orks
The looted wagon rolls a one again!!!!! And move a full 12”!!!
The mob move towards the infantry squad an the dread and the lone nob flees another 3”.
The infantry squad gets slaughtered after they killed 4 boyz. The dreadnought explodes and 2 boyz die in the blast
Imperium
Scouts climb down from the roof and hide behind the building
Turn 6 - This was the last round (didn’t take any pictures)
Orks
Orks try to see where the scouts are but cant see them they just move towards them.
Imperium
Scouts charge the smaller mob killing 2 of them, the remaining boyz scored 3 wounds on the scouts, one wound was saved but the two others rolled a double 3 and failed, soooooo close……
I won with by wiping out his entire army
After we had decided the winner of the game we tried to reroll the two dice and guess what!
The lone scout caught the boys in a sweeping advance!
