Anyone else on dakka see the new Goblin Arachnarok and think "that's going to be a tervigon if ever I saw one"?

Any ideas on how to make it more nid-esque (remove howdah = obvious)?

I am going to put big shootas and cannons on mine and run it as a battlewagon.

As for Nids, well you are immediately going to run into people who insist on six limbs only. It doesn't bother me because I have seen nids with more than 6 limbs. If you don't mind that then it will probably make a nice Tervigon. It shouldn't take much to spruce it up and make it more nid like. The extra bitz from a Carnifex kit will go along way. I wouldn't try using a carnifex torso though. If you do, this model is going to cost over $100.00.

Also the tervigon is getting a kit in September, so keep that in mind.

I was looking at it today and thought the same thing, but the aesthetics aren't exactly a Tyranid's. A good converter could definitely make something awesome for their Nids with it, but straight out of the box it still looks a bit too different.

It was on dakka quite a bit about a month ago. I will see if I can find it.

Still haven't found it yet. I think the topic was maybe renamed. I know it talked about boneswords, metal doom, and a t-fex/tervigon kit for the Tyranid 2nd wave.

Seems flimsy? Its ecron rumors AND a tyranid 2nd wave.

We only have ONE source for that Tyrannofex plus maybe Tervigon rumour, which is stickmonkey who has been fed false information several times. Might be true but too early to tell.

On the spider:
I have seen it today. The main body is full of small spiders creeping out of the mother. So it is a lot of work to make this kit into a Tyranid. Not impossible but not easy either.
