OK ... we took a bit of time off ... lots of things in the werks at Castwerks .. new lines of bases and such ... now were gettin back to building and painting stuff..
Tell me what you guys think so far ... they are just being blocked right now .. and we just finished building the Wolf lord and his guys ... Mixed in some Chaos stuff .... no young bloods in these guys .

Real nice job. Good mixture of chaos bit and SW bits but not too over the top on chaos. And the paint job is clean. Just one thing...What the Hell is that giant monstrosity on the left side of the picture of your Wolf Lord??

I assume you used GW wash (Devland/Black) to wash the Land Raider. I'm not sure if the stained look was your intended effect, if it was then all cool.

If not, then maybe you should wash around the crevices more and dab away some wash that are pooling around larger/flat surfaces to avoid staining.

Yeah .. the pooling effect is what i was after ... like it had been bery dirty/dusty ... then some form of precipitation .... then it dried ... something like that.... was thinking it would streak down the sides .

But where are the Wulfens?!?! You can't be a 13th Company if you don't have any!

On a side note, if you really want to stick to the fluff (and the old 3rd edition army list) than the 13th Company doesn't use any vehicles, only bikes.
But it would be a shame not to use that Land Raider (although the washing part had a peculiar effect).

Ahhhhh .... I really need to make some ... hummmmmmmm .... great point ... the army is for sale ... well it was for sale on ebay a bit ago ... hummm i was thinking i was stretching it with the raider.. thinking that was their las one or something. Ack .. as much as i THINK i know about this game .... LOL might break it up and put it by squad. Ill be making a lot more of them soon... same paint and all ...
