I am playing Space Wolves right now, and just starting to paint my army. I kind of want to paint them all green and gold. Is this against tournament rules? ans if not, is it generally frowned upon?

If it doesnt look blue and white, or like any of the other space wolf successor chapters, then I guess you've made a new chapter, huh?

Anyone who tells you any different can cram it.

Proper grammar. Learn it, live it, love it.

No, it is not. As long as you are not trying to use Orks as Blood Angels (or something equally as stupid), you shouldn't be nagged at tournament for this. Some people who change codexes when new ones are made, and won't make a new army are frustrating, though. Color schemes are your prerogative to follow or deviate.

Cool, I'll post some pics as soon as I get a few models painted.

Make sure that whoever turned you onto making space wolves gets hurt, though.

You may avoid some whining if you invent your own chapter who simply count-as space wolves ruleswise - that way no one can criticise your colour scheme.

Are these going to be pimp marines? In the words of Don "Magic" Juan, "A pimp's favorite colors are green and gold. Green for the money, gold for the honey. Ya dig?"

That or are you going the USF Bulls route? I still think a Black and Gold marine army would look better You can call them the Knights.

LOL @ boyd. Who cares if black and gold look better, with that hilarious quote he has to make pimp marines now.

@Stavkat - are you from Florida? Black and Gold - UCF; Green and Gold - USF. I figured that since he's from Florida he may get the reference... The I4 Rivalry... Not everyone thinks Blue and Orange look great together.
