Hey dakka

Found a game sytem called Combat Storm (plastic army men) the other day and on their site they had several papercraft buildings, shipping containers and other stuff. I was wondering if anybody has used their stuff as terrian for warhammer 40k. Is it too big or too small for 40k?

Heres the link to their site for their papercraft kits: http://www.combatstorm.com/download.html

It's made for toy soldiers, which are about 54mm. It's going to be a little less than twice as big as 40k. However, it's much easier to scale down than it is to scale up (you might run out of room on the page when scaling up), so I'd say reduce it to 60 or 70% and give it a go.

On the other hand, it's the perfect size for Inquisitor...

Glad to help.

There's alot of fantasy free paper terrain avaialable, but there seems to be not alot of quality free examples for 40k'ish. However, Ebbles miniatures and another company ( I think dave is in the title...) make some quite affordable printable paper terrain.

If you have a bit of photoshop skills, I do recommend the free files over at Dreampod9. They are 15mm, but could be scaled up.
