Okay i tried to make a shooty Ork list, i don't know if it would work. What do you think?
Gretchins will provide some cover where needed, warbuggies will try to slow my opponents advance, and the boyz will secure objectives if that is the missions while providing dakka. The lootas will be assigned to take care of transports while the looted wagons and Big meks will provide the big gunz.

I think thats a pretty nice Shooty Ork list.
Shock attack guns are possibley abit hit and miss, but certainly fun.
I have never seen Looted Wagons used, so don't know how good they are, but aren't Rokkit Killa Kans 40 points each? Meaning you could change this into a Kan wall list, for the same amount of points (and possibly use KFF instead of Shock attack guns, switching between then two if you wanted....)

I guess you could say it was Green Tide w/t Shootas.

Flash Gitz are awesome at counter-assaults. I had a squad of Khorne Berserkers try to assault them. While charging the Ork Player rolled a 2 for the Snazz Gun's Ap, and they killed about 3 of my Berserkers. When they finally did get to the Flash Gitz, I had trouble killing them with their 4+ armor save, 2 Wounds apiece, and Feel No Pain. I only landed 13/30 hits and out of that 7 wounded, and those 7 wounds were reduced to 3 due to armor saves and 1 due to Feel No Pain. Then their retaliation was a total of 45 attacks, 3 of them being poisoned (4+).

Big Gunz are great because A. They have vehicle armor (even if 10) B. A Bs 3, and C. A missile launcher or Las Cannon (If you can call it that).

Also Gretchin work well in maxed groups, you can field 29 and not have to deal with paying for a 3rd runt-herder

I dunno. I also have a list in which it uses the gretchen but I never seen them perform so I cannot comment on it. All I DO know is most people think they are crap and only use them for extra wounds for big meks...Maybe that is your plan for them?

Warbuggies are just something I never tested and I do not like their concept or how they look. But I am assuming they are more or less the same as DeffKopters so they should perform well for you.

I am a HUGE Fan of the looted Wagon with Boomgun. Good job there.

You have a nice list there. I wouldn't really change much except for the Gretchen. Since it looks like you got three small teams there they will get blasted to pieces if you just send them charging. Instead. Take that group of 10. Than split it into the others. Keep them held back with your Big Meks and Have the Big Mek with his own 16 man squad of Gretchen as extra "wounds". If anything gets too close to the big mek you can use the Gretchen to shoot it or at least act as a shield.

Contrary to what murray says, flash gitz are overpriced for what they do. Another thing that has to be pointed out is that the unit described is illegal. Max unit size for gitz is 10. As for effectiveness, you can make them fairly decent, but for how many points that would cost (330pts assuming no badrukk) I would much rather take the following.

Yes, flash gitz do a lot of damage, but you can do it with other units for a hell of a lot cheaper.

Boomgun looted wagons are great, nothing wrong with good cheap ordanance! Big gunz are another good HS slot for shooty orks, and you can get three in one slot, so consider changing a looted wagon for some.

I like the warbuggies idea, it's different, clever and i'm sure it'll work. Personally i prefer deffkoptas to warbuggies but i guess either will do.

I'd also suggest a nice shooty battlewagon for one of your shoota boy units (you'll have to reduce it first though obviously), it just makes grabbing objectives a lot easier.

All in all, a very strong and different shooty ork list, nice job

I considered to have Flash gitz with only more dakka, but that would require a bosspole to be effective and they dont have access to that, so that gets loads of expensive points right there, and i simply feel i cannot afford it.
And yes the gretchins are there to get shot down, infront of the lootas or boyz so they get 4+ save and they still see over them.
I could change one mek to have kustom force field but the Shock attack gun seem to fun to miss out in this kind of a list, thats why i took some gretchins instead.

I don't like those Looted Wagons as you could roll a 1 and they start driving away, stay with the Big Gunz which you had before which also shoot better too.

I've run looted wagons. Gotta love the boom gun, and yes the ocasionaly 'don't press dat' comes up but it makes for a fun game.

What if you dropped one of them for a battle wagon, combined 2 loota squads into a squad of 15 (dropping 4 but using the points on the BW) and you have a nice gun platform.

I'm a latin bro, so my slampiece cooks me quesadillas.

How can it be fun when your tank drives ahead 12" and you cannot fire? If you put something in front then you need a baby sitter unit to invest to stop it.

Well that has to be wrong because the maximum size for a Squad of Flash Gitz is only 10. And even if you did have 15 Flash Gitz with everything mentioned it would be, if I did the math right 480 points...... That's way too many. There is no way they will earn their points back. I'm not saying that they can't pose a threat, but you get get more done with those points if they're used else where.
