Definatly a Battlewagon spam

I personally prefer Deffrolla, grot riggers and 1 or 2 Big shootas on my Battlewagons. (Don't really think Rokkit is worth it at all at BS2)
You obviously have the problem, that side armour can be accessed easily by some armies, meaning the battlewagons will go down easily, which leaves you with not many Boyz to deal damage.

But shouldn't the KFF help with that?

Yeah to an extent. Obviously two would be better, but Ghaz is really needed when you only have two units of Boyz to dish out the damage.

Yeah, but I can easily cover 5 BWs w/ 1 KFF, and deathstar Ghaz and burnaboyz are just too good to pass up.

You can't 'easily' cover 5 BW with 1 KFF, but yeah it can be done, means you don't have any deployment/moving options turn one (and if playing with a fair bit of terrain, could be hard to do)

I didn't actually see the Burna boyz, that makes the list quite a bit better in my eyes, they can be very very useful.

And really useful for killing squads of Boyz as well

Less 3 x the number that get krumped first. Charge a big squad of Grey Hunters and you will be surprised at how many burnas bite it before they can light their torches.

Charge a unit of Thunderwolf Calvary and you are going to make Ghaz take a whole bunch of fearless saves.

In any case, only 25% of attacks will score on average. I don't really get the big burna squad thing.

225 points buys a bunch of Orky stuff. I don't feel up to doing the math, but I'd be willing to bet those points would buy a pretty solid Nob squad.

Other than that, I pretty much dig the list.

And you left a big question above my head.
If you can charge that GH squad, why wouldnt you drop 15 templates above them instead? I mean come on, play smart, not blindly.

A few notes:
1) a Meganob squad is actually troops due to Ghazghkull
2) You are really low on troops. How are you going to hold points in objective games? (2/3 of all games). Personally I believe this will be the undoing of your list.
3) The Meganobz can never be left unattended due to leadership problems. What this means in game is that the the one BW that you will usually loose on turn 1 (most opponents will be able to stop/crack 1 BW on the first turn) is the one with the Mek and the Nobz. So 3 Nobz dont make it to melee and the forcefield stays behind.

Since you are playing at 1750 I believe it would be better to drop 1 BW and the Meganobz for a more balanced approach including troops and harassment units

You don't need two KFFs with 5 Wagons...

Not sure on those Meganobz, better value for points than normal Nobz but lack of invulnerable means I.D stuff will smash them no problem.

Based on the responses, I'm going to try a new, more balanced list.
(Loosely balanced off of Dash's 2,000 pt orks.)

Ghazghkull Thraka - 225
Big Mek w/ KFF - 85

-Nob w/ big choppa
-Nob w/ Waagh! banner
Battlewagon w/ deffrolla, armor plates, grot riggers, grabbin' klaw - 130
Ork boyz x10 w/ nob, BP - 75
Ork boyz x12 w/ nob, BP, PK - 112
Trukk - 35
Ork boyz x12 w/ nob, BP, PK - 112
Trukk - 35
Grots x10 w/ runtherd - 40

Fast Attack
3 warbuggies w/ TL rokkit launchas - 105

Heavy Support
Battlewagon w/ deffrolla, armor plates, grot riggers, grabbin' klaw - 130
Battlewagon w/ deffrolla, armor plates, grot riggers, grabbin' klaw - 130

Tactics are trukks hide behind wagons, who have the mek wagon in the middle with the 10 boyz unit too, in case things go south for the wagon. The burnas and Ghaz go in 1 wagon, whereas the nobz chill in the other. They come out when they hit the enemy lines, and the deffrollas start squishing stuff while the nobz wreck most things. The burnas toast stuff from their wagon or get out and PW things, depending on the situation. The trukk boyz kill weaker units, and also hop into the trukks last turn for an objective grab. The grots hold the home objective while the lootas gun down stuff from cover. Rokkit buggies either hide behind the BWs or lead the charge 1st turn, depending on who goes first.

My only concern is the nobz. I feel like they are too deathstarry, and using kombi-rokkits and ammo grots definitly feels like a rip-off of Dash's list. Still I may swap them out depending on how they work for me.

Please post C&C!

You have forgotten a big shoota on your wagons. That means that you now get immobilised on 3's and two 3's or wreck you :(
Nobz should all have different wargear for allocation and you will want a banner to hit on 3's. Here are 6 nobz at 260:
Painboy
Nob with PK
Nob with PK and BP
Nob with BC
Nob with BC and Waaagh Banner
Vanilla Nob
All cyborks

The 10 Orks with a Battlewagon are not doing much. They can't win an assault and are really just taking up space in a BW. IMO either put some pain in a Wagon to get your milleage out of it or don't bring it an buy other stuff...

Well, for the nobs, shouldn't the banner be on the vanilla nob. I dont have a BC and banner model, just standard w/ banner. The 10 boyz in the BW are just a bodyguard for the mek in case his wagon goes boom. They should try to stay with the rest of the vehicles, giving the KFF save and having the boyz weaher the shooting.

List updated, keep up the C&C!

There are a few "extra" upgrades in the list above. My take is Nobs should have the number of Klaws necessary, a Boss Pole (unless Ghaz is in the list), and a Waagh! banner. Beyond that, there should be only enough upgrades to reach diversity.

By that standard, the Nob with the Waagh! banner could lose the Big Choppa.
