With the Incoming! Announcement I figured I'd go ahead and type up a Wish-Listing thread based on anything you hope to see the TK's get, whether it be a new range of plastics or game play mechanics.
My list?
1. A SC that works something like an empire of dwarven engineer. Its great firing a lot of catapult shots, so I'd like to pay some points and invest in a King-Priest or Tomb King that helps me avoid them breaking as much.
(The Nagash series of books had some great references for one of these. .. it has a lot of great source material for special characters actually.)
2. Light Chariot cost reduction to help TK's break out of their current pigeonholes.
3. Ushabti save turned from a 5+ armor to a 5+ ward. For a big magically animated construct, it sucks that high elves insta-gib you.
4. Keep the scorpion the same. He's perfect for his points and function. The only difference might be turning his save from armor to ward, like the Ushabti.
5. Cheaper skeletons. Maybe 6ppm instead of 8.
6. Make Khalida's poison arrow upgrade cheaper. 3ppm is a bit much. Drop it to 1 or 2.
7. More bound items with better uses to keep TK's from all resorting to the wizard hat to have a use for their power dice.
8. Do SOMETHING about crumble.
9. Let our undead march under certain character or general influence.
Just some things I'm hoping for.

3 of our current spells I think are fine as is... summoning, urgency and smiting.. fine, they are all fine..
my request is.. can we either get a better direct damage spell, or have access to more incantations? D6 str 4 hits?... ...
LoB smallest dd spell is 2d6 str 2 with option of 24" or 48"
LoM smallest dd spell is d6 hits that allow no armor save
LoF smallest dd spell is d3 str 4 for every 5 rank and file models
LoL smallest dd spell is 2d6 str 4+ 1 for every wizard who knows that spell
LoLife smallest is slightly similar however, when its cast a friendly model within 12" regains a wound, but its d6 str 4 hits, but if they in the woods.. 2d6..
Yeah.. LoH.. should I even talk about the d6 Str 6 hits from urannons thunderbolt?
LoS 6d6 line, pass initiative or take str 10 hit...with multipel wounds.. oh and you can double the range...
LoD have it you know with 2d6 minus str wound on a 4+ no armor.. 4
Not saying it needs to be godly.. but.. come on.. something slightly better please to keep up with everyone elses powers. Automatically Appended Next Post: Also, I'd like to see as was mentioned earlier either a points reduc on all skellie models for the nerf of fear, or something to compensate for the lack of effectiveness fear has with skellies.

Err. . .isn't it 2ppm already?
Not that I disagree with the idea. . . .
I am still getting my head wrapped around what they are like; trying to add what I would like in addition is premature.

Yeah the Khalida upgrade is 2 points.
How about Nile Crocs! And come to think about it - where's all the cats?! Let's stick to the Egyptian imagery and branch out a little. Also, some way that archers can stand & shoot, or light cavalry can flee would be great.

I feel ashamed for not thinking of that.

Monstrously Massive Big Mutant

I like the skeleton models, while the proportions aren't as great as on the VC models at least they look like reanimated skeletons. IMO adding on the armour equipment would take away from the model. After thousands of years in the desert most of that will be gone.
I hope they add some kind of big monster. There is a lot of room for larger animated constucts like the Ushabti. I think bone giants are a bit unoriginal. It makes sense for VC to ressurect giants but it seems unlikely there were many giants in khermi.
Undead crocs is a good idea.

I think they should be redone like VC. Each vamp is very customizeable and has specific vampire powers. Same with like WoC Demon Princes. Because you're required to take certain characters in TK, they should be super customizeable--look at Necron Lord in 40K. An actual magic list to put it in the same arena as everyone else. Better magic item list.
You look at the troops of something like Skaven and they got like 35 different unit types (including SC). TK currently have about half that. They really need some diversity.
I can see stuff like walking statues. Maybe some more fixed items like Casket (pyramids/obelisks). Some heavy infantry types reminiscent of the Chinese tombs with the statue guards inside. Definately crocs. And gods! They don't talk much about the gods, but that could give them a daemon-like avenue for new models that just aren't bones taped together.
Not sure what you'd do with cats. What's it going to do, claw your boot? "AH, it's got my shoelaces!" They already got a swarm unit.

The biggest thing that makes me doubt the No New Skeletons rumor is the simple fact that if they don't re-do them they can't do a box of 10 for $25, which would give them more money. They'd go from $2.18 per Skeleton to $2.50 per Skeleton, that coupled with the surge from the "new shiny" syndrome would be something I don't think they'd pass up in a million years.
But then, I really really really want new Skeletons, so I might just be trying to convince myself that the one thing I was looking forward to the most about this release is actually going to happen.

Arrrrgh now I'm torn between buying more old skeletons now or less possibly mythological new skeletons later.
Is it possible Savage orcs are a higher point cost & that somehow justifies the 10/$29? Though I'm not super impressed to see lots of awesome extras on the spruce if its just making them equal in cost to metals.
On the Tomb Kings forum I saw one army where the guy used a black humanoid cat model (Egyptian looking of course) as rank and file guys- it was really cool.

Well I know orcs are 25mm bases, I don't know the size of the skeleton bases, so that might make a difference. My local GW manager did say that they were moving operations from China back to England and did say prices would be affected.
