Would anyone out there be able to tell me how a WHFB Minotaur would compare size wise to a Killa Kan? I currently have a converted AoBR warboss but I'm wanting something bigger and am planning on using a Minotaur as a basis. I ask versus a Killa Kan because 1 I have them and 2 I'm gonna use Killa Kan parts as bioniks, weapons and armor so I need a compareson. I also need to know if the head I want to use will fit so if anyone could help me out I'd appreciate it.

Uh the old minotaur's were almost on a 1:1 scale. Not to sure about the newer ones.

Yeah I'm looking for the new ones, I didn't like the old ones.

I don't have a minotaur in front of me, but yes as I recall it would be about Kan size. I wondered about doing something similar when the minotaurs first came out, but was put off by all the plastic fur i'd have to remove :(

Really the largest amount would be on the chest and to be honest some fine grade sand paper will work great, of course that's if you left them bare chested. The arms don't really have that much fur since their mostly armored, how do you think an Ork head would fit on the body? I'm thinking about the roaring head from the Boar Boyz (I love that kit) sprue. So far the largest Ork heads I've been able to find that are plasic are from the AoBR sprue.

Or just use the AoBR warboss head? But the head doesn't need to be huge anyway - some body builders look odd because their head is the one part of their body which hasn't bulked up, makes sense that orks would be the same.

Actually it dosen't really since Orks aren't humans, Orks do;ot have to work to get their muscle their entire body grows and Orks have large heads anyway. And I can't use the AoBR head because I already used it and the glue I use bonds plastic together and I can't get it apart lol

The head from the metal Ghaz kit is huge. Id say 30% to 50% larger than the other Ork heads Ive got.

Whats my game?
Warmachine (Cygnar)
10/15mm mecha
Song of Blades & Heroes
Blackwater Gulch
X wing
Open to other games too

Current Killa Kanz are much larger than current Minotaurs.

The Killa Kan takes up a 60mm base easily, and its limbs extend well beyond the base. Minotaurs take up a 40mm square base and barely extend beyond it.

That being said the arms would make it look huge and awesome and Orky as bioncs, but you'll need to do a bit of cutting. The shoulder pads on a Kan would look awesome on a Minotaur body.

@Mad4Minis: Yeah I'm not gonna use that head, I stay away from metal as much as possible plus it's pretty recognizable.

@More Dakka: I actually have a plan to convert a killa kan leg into a bionik arm and possibly a leg using one of the kans feet, I've got armor bits taken from Trukks, Battlewagons, the plastic fantasy warboss, Nobz etc. Another reason I'm looking into size compareson for the Minotaur and Killa kan is since the Minotaur is a larger scale then normal ork boyz I need to represent his weapon as being larger.
