Hi everyone, especially green skin advocates

I am thinking of making my Primary 40k army a primarily Nobz list

I am very curious about experianced Orks giving me their opinion about this list:

2750-3000 pts

HQ
- 2 warbosses - PK, Cybork armour

Troops and eltes
- 50 nobz - Uge choppas, cybork bodies, Painboy in each squad, twin linked shootas

Transport
- 5 trucks - (unknown what upgrades are worth taking - but staying opentopped seems nessesary)

Fast
- 10 - 15 defkoptas - With missles
- 20 Stormboys with Charachter for deep strike

Heavy
3 looted wagons with Kannon

Ok let me know if i am out of my mind for tinking this will work.
Thanks

5 deffkoptas per squad x2 squads = 10...

This list will get MOWED down horribly. You are relying on paper thin trukks to move your 350-400pt units up the board??? Not gonna work. You're going to face so much firepower at that lvl those trukks will be smoked turn 1 w/o blinking an eye. Then you're walking up the board and it's bye bye nobz.

If you want to run Nobz then run biker nobz w/ warbosses on bikes.

would tanks work in stead of truck fro the slighly extra durability for transportation?

I don't know if the extra Nobz would be worth it, personally I would have a couple of full squads of boyz and then have Nobz bringing up the rear for the more elite units that need to go down. But the list sounds interesting...

Ya know this list would work if you got turn 1. If you went second your dead. The lack of KFF Mechs leaves your Trukks vulnerable to literally anything with a gun. Open topped armor 10 all around is bad news especially when its caring expensive things like nobz.

Now if you go turn 1, you MIGHT be able to swing a multi assault with that many Koptas and take out sitting tanks with your buzz saws. With that many Koptas running around the back field, most of your trukks are probably going to make it to the lines. Sounds like a fun list to play, but you have to keep in mind, at this points level your going to be facing A LOT of stuff. All in all the list is way to dependent on turn 1, and even then its going to be an uphill battle.

Those Koptas will run after losing a model or 2 which will prob happen during turn 1. Your storm boyz might not come in until turn 3 or 4, and your nobz once on foot are going to be picked apart by 3000 points of whatever your going against. I say play test with proxy models and see if you like it...you may be very very very disappointed.

It's amazing how many S10 pie plates an IG leafblower can put on the table...
