Ultramarine Land Raider Pilot on Cruise Control

Yorkshire, UK

Apologies if this has been covered before but I can't find the answer in the Codex, GW or INAT FAQ or when I searched YMDC under 'Talos'.

So either I'm being incredibly dumb (likely ) or I've missed something obvious (also likely... )

Anyway, hope you can help.

The Talos has d6 attacks on its profile and is listed as having a close combat weapon in its wargear.

In the options you are told you can 'Replace one of its close combat weapons with one of the following...'

Now, both the Ichor injector and Chain-flails are special CC weapons, but if you take the TL Liquifier gun, you now have no CC weapons at all. How does this affect your CC abilities (if at all)?

Secondly, you can take an additional CC weapon, this presumably adds 1 attack as normal if you have the basic ccw or ichor/flails. If you have replaced your basic CC weapon with the gun and then take the additional ccw, what affect does this have on your number of attacks?

thanks in advance

While you sleep, they'll be waiting...

Have you thought about the Axis of Evil pension scheme?

It has no effect; you still attack in close combat

If you add a second close combat weapon you gain +1 attacks, but not if you've lost your first CCW to the gun - you no longer have 2 CCW, but 1
