Drone without a Controller






Here are my converted BFG tyranid fleet using epoxy putty and 40K gw bits.

It costs 1000~1500 pts varies by option and weapon selection.

It took long time between complete building fleet and painting it because I was serve in 2 years of military service.(Now I am discharged upon completing it)

(Right)Drone ships using Warrior head and Carnifex acid maw bits.






Attack crafts using Toxin sac and Adrenal glend bits.

I love the cruisers using the carnifex carapaces. The little attack craft are also great.

I am not so sold on the ships using carnifex heads, for me they are far too instantly recognisable and their identifiable 'face' means they lose a lot of scale.

I'll agree with Stompa that the heads don't tickle me the best of ways, but don't let that take away from the awesomeness that you have.

I agree...The fleet looks awesome! The only change I would recommend is maybe cover the eyes of the carnifex head. Make them look as if it was a just flesh there. It would look less like a face and more just like a ship with a giant Maw on it.

other then that, its great.


The small drown assault/attack craft in particular looks great!

I love the look you have going here! The paint job is top notch. I think Comintern has a good point about covering over the eyes...I think this will go a long way towards restoring a sense of scale to them (assuming you can do it without messing up the nice paint job you have done).
