I had this question in mind the other day and then it actually came up in a game I played last night. Luckily it was just a fun game with a friend of mine so no heated arguments ensued and the conclusion we came to was amicable and accepted by both of us.
The question I have is: How long does the Weaken Resolve ability last? It say for the turn, does that mean my (player) turn or the entire turn?

Here is the set up: I have the top of the 3rd turn and cast Weaken Resolve on a unit of Wyches that take 25% casualties and take their Moral test at -7. They fail and run. On the bottom of turn 3 my friends Wyches are not within 6 inches of any of my units nor are they under half strength. Does he then make his moral test to regroup at -7? We asked our LO since it was a league game and he said that his interpretation/ruling would be Weaken Resolve lasts the player turn so we diced off on it to be safe. Is there an actual ruling on this I couldn't find anything on here or the FAQ but it is possible I missed it.

No, as you do not regroup until your turn, which is after WR has finished.

Page 9 of the rulebook. Also covered in the rulebook FAQ.

When a rule refers to a turn, it means 'player turn' unless it specifically says 'game turn'...

Thanks insaniak that was the general conclusion we drew too just wanted to insure we were correct. I must have missed that in the BRB FAQ.

The rule insaniak quotes is often ignored, and solves many questions. Many many.
