Great article. I like it very much, where did you get the info about the Blood Angels apprehending Cypher? I would like to read more about that.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you; I took this thread off my subscribed list.

Bits of it are floating around the web. Lexicanum and fluff bits pertaining to Cypher make mention of this due to it being the only time he has ever been apprehended.

but astelan was one of the terran angels...yet you say here that it was only the Calibanites that were sent back...which is somewhat confusing...

I didn't state it clearly enough, so I understand your confusion. Most of the marines sent back were calabanites, but not all. Also, some calabanites were not sent back, but most were.

hmmm...I always assume that it was luther and the terran angels that resented him, as they ha been created for him yet he preffered the new Calibanite DAs.
For example in Tales of Heresy the younger, less experienced commander takes control of the expedition fleet, under order from the Lion.
Also in Angels of Darkness, Astelan talks of Calibanite companies being sent to shadow the terran companies...as Johnson did not trust them fully.

But after the Lion found out about Luther's hesitation in defusing the bomb that entirely changed. He began to be suspicious of Luther, and by extension, all Calabanites.
