Apocalypse army consisting entirely of CHAPTER MASTERS WITH ORBITAL BOMBARDMENT.

Lol. I own a tank company, so I'm kinda bias towards them =P

But in all seriousness, Vindis are better because you get off more than one shot. It would be awesome, though, if you painted each master up as a different chapter, so it's like a Council of Chaptermasters fighting at the forefront while each of their respective chapters are fighting "offscreen" so to speak.

Edit: I do like MechaEmperor's suggestion. That alone just moved this thread from 'wth?' to 'this is pretty neat'.

I actually wanna assemble a single, 3000 point linebreaker squadron for apocalypse now. A single one at 3000 points gives you 24 normal Vindis and a Command Tank (who has 25 points to spend on other equipment) This allows you to land 6 10" large Blast Templates a turn.
