Did you guys know Canada has a friggin desert?

I always wanted to try a zombie wargame where instead of using the normal "army" standards, there would be clans; for example: survivors, or thugs, cultists or something like these living in a post-apocalyptic zombie filled world. Im wondering what the rest of dakka thinks? (in other words, what do you guys think?)

You should check out a game called All Things Zombie, I think its just what you want.
Besides, they make a miniature clown with a chainsaw.

There's plenty out there. I think Apocalypse Z is another, I've played it or something with a very similar title before.

Well, do you guys recommend them? I dont want to play a game without good rules, or a future.

OT: Also SRM, your guitar hero video was win!

Thanks I'm proud of that one.

Apocalypse Z was fun the times I played it. I wasn't astounded, but it was fun.

I can absolutely recommend All Things Zombie but it's not a game for everyone. Read up on the reaction system they use before getting it.

My friends have written a very large zombie campaign with rules based on 40k. Easiest thing to do is that all zombies within 18" walk towards and zombies move 2D6 pick the highest. Every other zombie uses a scatter dice. Direct hit means they don't move. They have a 5+ Armor save and feel no pain as well. Also, if you play with a sewer, 1D2 zombies spawn from it a turn and can't move until the next. It really is a blast.

All things zombie is cool.

However, Zombies seem to crop up everywhere now and they are getting a bit boring atm...
