Just...No. Imagine the dry cleaning bill if you spill a bottle of chaos black inside the airplane. Just wait till you land.

Put them in a plastic ziploc bag & they'll be fine.

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

I don't think you could even check them but I'm not 100%. You'd be best off shipping them ground USPS or carrier to your destination ahead of time.

Paint is considered hazardous goods, I believe. Of course, that's intended to avoid problems with huge cans of paint, not our teeny little bottles, but I can just see an overzealous security person pedantically confiscating it all. If you want to take the risk, definitely wrap it up in bubble wrap inside plastic bags, so they can see it can't cause a mess even if it somehow spills.

I don't think "mess" is what they are worried about so much as "boom".

mailing your paints ahead is the only sure fire way to move them long distances and avoid trouble.

put them in your suitcase, in a bag and check them in as normal. Acrylic paint doesn't go boom, it's mostly water!

I took mine to the states in my checked baggage. I used a little tackle box, and inside all the paints were in large freezer ziplock bags.

No catastrophic paint failures were had... And that was even with all the connectors and stuff.
