hi there, just a quick question for conversion purposes but i was wondering, how close would you say eldar torsos are in comparison to imperial guard, specifically cadians

Not close enough.

They are longer and slimmer.
Even if you trim down the ball socket bottom of the torso to mate with the flat hips of a guard model, you still end up with a skinny but 'hippy' model.

eldar use ball sockets for their joints, guard use flat sockets, plus the proportions are wrong, eldar have "perfect" proportions where guard are not, the only thing that would work maybe is the heads and guns.

Their arms are longer, also.
Their heads are also the wrong size for guard torsos.
