If a space wolf player casts tempest's wrath, "24 inch dangerous terrain radius" would a drop pod have to navigate itself 1 inch away from that bubble?

Drop pods don't avoid dangerous terrain. They avoid impassable terrain and other models.

It would only need to do this, if you swapped "dangerous terrain" for "impossible terrain".

Enemy & Friendly units as well as terrain pieces marked out as impossible terrain, are all impossible terrain.
