Yup, true scale marine converters have a zillion tricks, but many are a lot of work or require serious skills.

For just a few 'larger than normal' termies, I'd keep it simple - bulk up the shoulder and waist joints by 1-2mm with plasticard discs, and also bulk up their bases a little. That, combined with a slightly fancier paintjob, will make them stand out.

I would think some Pre Heresy shoulderpad would help too I think, Some guy did his Termies really nicely

I already have a rough idea of how to do this, Probably won't bulk up their legs though

That one is a very nice conversion, Dark

I used plastic card to bulk up my termies, using cheap model filler like humbrol or white milliput my mock up here uses "Blu Tac" just to get a feel for the composition before i glued it (I wish I had taken more photo's). My project went Like so

(the one on the right is a bit nearer so the sense of scale isn't really captured that well but he is about 4mm bigger)..Plus add some Card to the soles of his boots for a height boost plus you can see my home made pauldron covers and Thunderhammer

Plus dreadnought Shin armour fits over their pauldrons like so and then you can bend a Wolf cloak over him.. Cheap and easy to do..

Collecting Forge World 30k????? If you prefix any Thread Subject line on 30k or Pre-heresy or Horus Heresy with [30K] we can convince LEGO and the Admin team to create a 30K mini board if we can show there is enough interest!

Some of the ork shoulder pads, minus the rivets, can also be used to bulk up shoulders or for Preheresy conversions.
