hey dakka members i am in need of help of what to get for a Epic Cane Assassination build i already have a squire and arlan strangeways wanting to look at a journey man warcaster going to get trenchers but thats all i know that i can think of

To enable eCaine to assassinate you just need to tie the enemy force and open the way for Caine to do his thing. The options to open way are various, you will need to include some jacks to fill his jack points and then some infantry/ solos.
Good selection to any ranged cygnar lists is rangers, their passive buff to RAT is great.

Rangers, Arcane Tempest Gun Mages with the UA, and the Black 13th is about all you need troop wise. Caine also needs Reinholdt for the extra shots as well as the Squire. Jack wise, Hunters and Chargers are good cheap jacks to put on him since he really doesn't care about the jacks. Marshalling a defender to the gun mages with Strangewayes powerboosting it will let them run the defender at full effect boosting both to hit (for critical brutal damage) and damage (4d6+15 on a critical). Maybe let Junior run a Cyclone for the covering fire templates.

ya i might do that but lets say i change the cast to normal haley what would i want then in terms of jacks and infertry and solos even though i know what solos to take

In addition, eCaine is not bad with Merc units as well.

playing cryx is also better for another reason. If you join now you have a shot at becoming a lich lord. If not, you will probably end up as a mechanithrall or a stinky bilethrall

Jr. Can't run a cyclone effectively. In fact, no one but Kraye and The Dude can run a cyclone to its full effect. If you have the Dude (and if you should as he's the man) give him the Cyclone, and if you have points a Defender. Let Jr. run a Hunter as it doesn't need much focus and gives him a full 12" control range. eCaine should get a Hunter as it only needs one focus to do it's thing and he's pretty miserly with focus.

eCaine needs Reinholdt, the Squire, and maybe that Ordic hooker lady. Outside of that your army is only there to open up a hole to let eCaine pop his feat and blow away the enemy commander. For reals. He may be the most self sufficient 'caster in the game as he just needs LOS to win.

Goreshade begs to differ, the Angry Elves don't know what's good for them and so he'll bring salvation to them, greeted with open arms or not.

lol i would play angry elves if i got them in a trade for some of my warhammer stuff and looking for more cygnar stuff
