So basically, i play Black templars, and......you cant really hold objectives considering you cant finish a game without every single infantry unti in your army across the board. So to capture objectives, who is better the battle sister squad or storm troopers?. Sisters got the power armour, but being able to measure distances allows you to get alot of measurments of diffrent angels so (basically allowing you to cheat) get measurements for almsot ur whole army.

So you play Black Templars and sisters? And they let you pre-measure? What game is this?

Stormies have an upgrade where they can measure BEFORE choosing a target in the shooting phase, and I suspect he is using Witch Hunter allies. So, to answer the question, the game is Warhammer 40000.

Oh well in that case you need Sisters! They have power armor and FAITH points. You just gotta have FAITH that they will hold the objective (and a 3+ invul save).

Just stay with templars? put your finger on the model claim you moved it .01 inches. It has now moved up to the number you rolled on the dice and is fine.

When in doubt burn it, then burn yourself for doubting.

You can do that?

Just read it, unfortunetly you cannot, becasue you have to move your units, and looknig in the main rules you dont have a choice if you decide to move them.

The move is a consolidate move which i'm pretty sure it says may move up to d6, so yes you can move it .01 to fullfill the requirement.

Or you can just sit a small squad in a razorback on your objective.

Thats like 140 point minumum, some thnig that a squad of stormies or witch unters can do for a third of the price. 140 points is a whole new tank, or a squad that sit and blast with a plasma cannon for 6 turns.

Just take a small 5 crusader squad with a heavy weapon and put them on an objective. Go to ground if they take fire to avoid the zeal move and get a 3+ cover save.

This seems reasonable. Though if you ARE keen on Witch Hunter allies, Sisters do have more survivability for only fractional increase in cost.

They still only have T3 IIRC, and since they are going to get 3+ cover, then toughness and leadership really only comes to play. Crusaders > Sisters and Stormtroopers.

Not to mention if you care about fluff at all, running allies with black templars is fluff sacrilege. They pretty much operate alone and distrust other imperial forces, even other space marine chapters.

That's not entirely true. Black Templar crusades have been known to either be at the forefront of entire Crusades (on an Imperial Scale) or inspire Systems/Sectors to field armies and navies to support the Templar forces at the forefront (both fighting at the front and cleaning up after the BT's).

Sisters are harder to justify given the vast differences in dogma, though perhaps your average sister is unaware of the precise BT teachings.
