Hey dakka-ites and Daemon players!

So I'm taking skulltaker in a unit for an upcoming game, but I can't decide if I'd rather have him join a unit of Letters or Crushers. I don't mind the thirty five points for an extra attack, strength, toughness and wound (to put the skulltaker on a juggernaut). And it would give me an extra crusher for wound consolidation, making the unit 5. But with the letters, suddenly that troop choice becomes a dangerous unit. Which would you put him in?

I love bloodletters - and skulltaker or no skulltaker, they ARE a dangerous unit.

They WILL get rapid fired to death though, as no one wants to be charged by 10+ power weapons with FC. If you want Skully to survive, run him with juggernauts - that unit will get shot anyway - if anything, (as you correctly say), that will increase the wound allocation on your crushers. Your letters will get gunned down easy, leaving skull taker exposed. He is far more durable with crushers.

You can always take the Skulltaker on a juggernaught and attach him to a squad of Bloodletters.

I don't know why I didn't even consider that.
